Linz’s Ars Electronica Future Lab and Japan’s public broadcaster NHK will present possibilities of 8K visualization in the joint exhibition “Media response” at Tokyo’s NHK Plus Cross Shibuya from March 14 to 31, 2021. The extremely high resolution of 8K technology makes it possible to convey previously imperceptible details, new knowledge and awareness.
Accompanying the exhibition, the Ars Electronica Future Lab streamed a conversation between artists and researchers from Ars Electronica and NHK producers via YouTube channel on March 23, 2021.
