The exhibition tells a story that takes place outside the auditorium and reveals the inner workings of the theater, hidden from prying eyes. Behind each production are many talented artists, their work and inspiration.
The narrators of this story are photographer and publisher Lois Lammerhuber and Dominique Meyer, director of the Vienna State Opera from 2010 to 2020, who have collaborated every year for the past ten years to create photo books on various aspects of theater life.
