Bratislava, Austrian Cultural Forum, Hodžovo nám. 1/A
“Salon of wooden buildings” is a well-known international show of modern wooden architecture. The Slovak organizer is the architectural center ARCHA matériO Bratislava. In 2020, the event featured a photo exhibition of 40 realized wooden buildings and organized a series of lectures with international architects. The program for 2021 follows the same concept: www.salondrevostaveb.cz
Andreas Breuss was born in 1961 in Feldkirch, Vorarlberg. Since 1989 he has been designing architectural spaces and objects that are intended to meet and stimulate the needs and senses of users. Natural smell, haptic tactile sensuality, as well as a body-compatible and healthy indoor climate through the use of natural untreated materials characterize his spaces, which bathe the user and the architecture in a warm and beautiful light through light-diffusing surfaces. Projects include attic conversions, single-family homes, residential and school space designs, tourist and gastronomic spaces, furniture design, office spaces… as well as scientific studies on the use and reuse of natural building materials in the construction process.
