The competition will be held in three nominations: Reading. Work – a video of reading an excerpt from the work of R. M. Rilke “Notes of Malte Laurids Brigge” Understanding. Work – essay comprehension based on the work of R. M. Rilke “Notes of Malte Laurids Brigge” Transfer. Work – the original of the poem and the candidate’s personal translation into Russian are provided. Sonnet from Part I of “Sonnets to Orpheus” Phase I – from March 1 to October 01, 2021. Acceptance of applications and works of the participants of the competition and publication of the selected works in the UK group “We read. We understand. Translating R. M. Rilke “https://vk.com/concursrilke. Works received after midnight (Moscow time) on October 1 will not be accepted for consideration. Phase II – from October 2 to 31, 2021 – the work of expert commissions, which will prepare a long list of participants (20 people). Members of the jury welcome online voting by participants on the participants. The number of likes will be taken into account when summarizing the results. Phase III – from 1 to 15 November 2021 – the work of expert commissions, which creates a short list (10 people) Phase IV – from 16 to 30 November 2021 determination of winners. Phase V – December 5, 2021 – award ceremony at the II International Literary Festival “Rilke. The Melody of Things”.
