Exclusively for the Austrian Cultural Forum Bern, the Austrian trio “CLARIVOCE” has developed a concert “Zur Tages- und Nachtgleiche”, which was recorded in the historic ambience of the Vienna Künstlerhaus by the videographer Silvia Eitler. The online concert in two parts is dedicated in the first part to the themes of night, death, loss and mourning and in the second part to the themes of day, birth, resurrection and joy.
“CLARIVOCE“, that is an Austrian trio in the instrumentation of soprano (Monika Medek), clarinet (Siggi Schenner) and piano (Christine David). In this concert, the artists will make the compositions for female voice by Karl Messner, Nancy van de Vate, Max Kreuz and Astrid Spitznagel, as well as songs from “Des Knaben Wunderhorn” by Gustav Mahler and songs by Alban Berg audible and visible.
