Physical presence and interaction between artists and viewers usually completes the enjoyment of culture. The technological accesses provided in the Covid19 period cannot replace this loss, but they can transmit images and thoughts of artists.
With the support of the Austrian Embassy in Athens, 20 artists from Greece and Austria have contributed to an online encyclopedia with the help of which they present their works. In addition, they also address the impact of Covid19 on artists and art itself.
The initiative was developed by Cheapart (Athens) and Galerie artmark (Vienna). The interviews are presented on theculturechannel.com and supported by the FB page “cheapart offical page” and APART Art Research & Applications.
