The Austrian Cultural Forum Tehran supported an exhibition of Austrian conceptual artist Walter Kratner in Isfahan in June/July 2021. This exhibition was held jointly with Aknoon Gallery, (https://www.instagram.com/aknoonartgallery/?hl=en), and Safavi House, the Museum of Creativity and Architecture (http://safavihouse.com/). “WALTER KRATNER” and the three installations “The Broken Book 3”, “Clean hands 2” and “The Flaw”. “The Broken Book 3” and “The Flaw” were shown for 10 days at Aknoon Art Gallery and “Clean hands 2” at Safavi House Gallery. The epidemiological situation at the time allowed the exhibition to open on site under strict COVID security regulations on June 27, 2021. Artist Walter Kratner was unable to attend due to the pandemic. Dr. Abbas Salehi (Germanist and translator), Dr. Mohammadreza Ghaneei (Director of the Safavi House Cultural Center) and Dr. Birgit Gschier (Tehran Cultural Forum) gave opening speeches. The exhibition was curated by Elnaz Rajabian.
