During the Paralympic Games in August 2021, the exhibition Spirit in Motion – For Diversity and Inclusion was shown at the Tosei Gallery of the Tokyo Metropolitan Government. “Spirit in Motion” has been the motto of the Paralympic Games since 2004, enabling athletes from all over the world to compete internationally at the highest level.
As a European joint project organized by EUNIC Japan under the project management of the Austrian Cultural Forum Tokyo, the exhibition paid tribute to the achievements and successes of all para-athletes. In addition to the personal stories of the athletes, the disciplines of the Paralympic Games were brought closer to the visitors.
The exhibition consisted of photo contributions from 16 European countries and Japan, which drew attention to the importance and necessity of inclusion.
