On June 7, 2021, Ambassador Mühlmann opened a traveling exhibition on Bertha von Suttner in Batumi. This exhibition, which had previously been shown in other cities, highlights the seven years that the first female Nobel Peace Prize laureate spent in Georgia.
A new anthology was also presented to the public on the occasion of the opening, which brings together twelve publications translated into Georgian by Bertha von Suttner as well as her husband Arthur during her time in Georgia. In addition, two Austrian book corners were opened: in the library as well as in the Euro2000 school, which is dedicated to teaching the German language.
This exhibition, organized in cooperation with the Austria Library and the Tsereteli Library in Batumi, was framed by an Austria Week with daily events in the premises of the Tsereteli Library, which also hosted the exhibition.
