The Austrian Cultural Forum London is hosting a virtual edition of its in-house concert series “Jazzexchange” on April 30 as part of International Jazz Day 2021, featuring performances by Austrian NASOM duo Hofmaninger/Schwarz and Brighton-based jazz quintet Spannocchi/Phelps/Cox/Goller/Banks.
Both bands will present a set from their own repertoire via live stream, followed by a short interview. Jazz musician and composer Guido Spannocchi will be the moderator for the evening.
The digital project stands for cultural exchange and celebrates cross-national music-making.
“Jazzexchange” is a regular concert series curated by London-based Austrian jazz musicians Aram Zarikian and Guido Spannocchi. The aim is to connect young jazz musicians from Austria with the British scene.
Interested parties can register for free tickets on the KF London website.
