The Ottawa Cultural Forum is pleased to bring together the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens in Vienna and the UNESCO Chair of York University in Toronto for a conversation on May 5, at 6:00 pm Vienna time.
In 2015, United Nations Member States set seventeen Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) applicable to all countries. Monika Fröhler, Chief Executive Officer of the Ban Ki-moon Centre for Global Citizens, and Charles Hopkins, UNESCO Chair in Reorienting Education towards Sustainability, will address key issues related to the role of education for all in achieving the Sustainable Development Goals. The event will be moderated by Andreas Strebinger, professor in the School of Administrative Studies, and Katrin Kohl, UNESCO Chair Coordinator, with visual accompaniment by Viennese graphic recording artist Lana Lauren.
