The Austrian Cultural Forum Berlin invites artists and scientists to share their “thoughts on the future” in a new series of talks. It is at the intersection of art and science that innovative ideas can emerge and develop! In these talks, curious and far-sighted thinkers give impulses to think about our future in a new and different way.
In the first issue, philosopher and cultural scientist Thomas Macho and writer Ilija Trojanow talk about “The Future of Universalism”. The topic is very moving at the moment, as it has become obvious that global challenges such as a pandemic, but also climate change and digitalization, can only be overcome in a joint international effort. At the same time, globalization – not least because of the pandemic – has negative connotations in many places.
In a conversation about the many aspects on the topic of globalization, Thomas Macho and Ilija Trojanow will ring in the “Thoughts on the Future” on April 29 on the YouTube channel of the Austrian Embassy and the Cultural Forum.
