His birthplace Venice and Vienna, where the baroque genius Antonio Vivaldi died 280 years ago, are the cornerstones of the virtual tour “JAZZT Vivaldi” of the famous soprano Rodica Vica and the Romanian-Austrian ImpRoVienna Ensemble, organized by the Musica Ricercata Association and sponsored by the Bucharest Cultural Forum from 20.4 to 4.5 . 2021 will also mark the 140th birthdays of Béla Bartók and George Enescu, who was strongly influenced by Vivaldi, which is why both composers have been cleverly integrated into “JAZZT Vivaldi”. The innovative bracket is improvisation, which is an essential element for Vivaldi’s music: Vivaldi is the recurring standard that sets the framework for the improvisations in the style of the other composers. The Bucharest Cultural Forum will broadcast the concert live on its Facebook page on May 4 at 7 p.m. (EEST). More info about “JAZZT Vivaldi” can be found on the website of the Bucharest Cultural Forum.
