After a long break, the Embassy, in cooperation with the publishing house Éditions Binsfeld and the municipality of Bettembourg, continued the popular series of reading matinée “Crémant – Melange” on April 18. The event opened the 9th LiteraTour at the Château de Bettembourg, where a week-long literary program is offered. On the stage of the fully booked chateau theater, Gertraud Klemm read from her novel “Hippocampus” and Nora Wagener from “All my friends”, musically framed by the youth string quartet of the regional music school. Gertraud Klemm, known for her feminist literature, summed it up again this time: “Women function, men function.” Likewise, Nora Wagener did not spare socially critical remarks in her text about the Luxembourg tradition of the Pentecostal cruise. The authors’ trenchant, sarcastic texts blended together perfectly and left the audience looking forward to the next Liesmatinée.
