Since March 26 until August 29, 2021, the Zentrum Architektur Zürich (ZAZ) presents the exhibition “Critical Care. Architecture for a Planet in Crisis”. Using 21 current international examples, the exhibition proves that architecture and urbanism can ensure that the planet is “revived” – after all, the term “critical care” refers to both intensive care and care-giving. The exhibition, supported by the Austrian Cultural Forum in Bern, was first shown at the Architekturzentrum Wien in 2019.
ZAZ has now adapted the show for a Swiss audience. A diverse supporting program highlights the theme of caregiving in architecture and urban design in the local context.
