On Monday, March 29 at 8:30PM, the program Ars Electronica Animation Festival 2020 On Tour will be screened at Science Festival via Live Stream (https://www.athens-science-festival.gr/).
The screening is a cooperation of the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs, the Austrian Embassy in Athens and SciCo, the British Council in Athens in collaboration with Technopolis City of Athens.
Since the inception of the Prix Ars Electronica in 1987, computer animation has been one of the essential elements of the annual worldwide media art competition. The award-winning works, selected by a jury of experts from thousands of submissions, fascinate not only visitors to the renowned Ars Electronica Festival each year. With the “Ars Electronica Animation Festival on Tour,” we present a selection of outstanding animations for educational institutions, film festivals and cultural organizations together with the participating artists and in cooperation with the Austrian Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs.
