Around the International Women’s Day, the Austrian Embassy brings the festival “Tricky Women/Tricky Realities” to the big screen! From March 8 to 17, 2021, the animated films of the female artists will be presented at the cultural center B7L9 in Bhar Lazrag, La Marsa.
The official opening took place on International Women’s Day on Monday, March 8.
This year’s theme, “Of Journeys, Heartstrings and Peripheries,” invites visitors on a cinematic journey of discovery. The animated film show reveals a broad spectrum of the most diverse films and the most varied techniques. Short recordings of the respective directors and portraits of their works will be made accessible to a broad audience through subsequent conferences by students of film and video art. A Zoom conference with local experts, the festival’s initiators and individual female directors will round off the multi-day program.
