CF London hosted a virtual edition of its in-house concert series “Jazzexchange” on December 18, with performances by Austrian jazz trio KRY and British percussion duo Angela Wai Nok Hui and James Larter.
Both bands presented a short set from their own repertoire, as well as an exclusive reworking of a selected song by the other. The pieces were individually interpreted and presented from a new, musical perspective.
The digital project stands for cultural exchange and celebrates cross-national composing.
“Jazzexchange” is a regular concert series curated by London-based Austrian jazz musicians Aram Zarikian and Guido Spannocchi. The aim is to connect young jazz musicians from Austria with the British scene.
