The 32nd edition of the renowned Morelia Music Festival “Miguel Bernal Jiménez” (FMM) will take place this year from November 19 to 22, both locally in Morelia, Michoacán, and virtually. This year’s motto: “with music life changes”, and this time it also celebrates especially the 250th anniversary of Ludwig van Beethoven.
Austria will be especially represented with two virtual contributions, because two of the total of five concerts will be from Austria! Firstly, on November 19, the virtual concert by the Austrian NASOM jazz group Purple is the Color, which was recorded exclusively for the festival, will be presented to an audience in a local theater; – and secondly, the Vienna Chamber Symphony will make a virtual appearance at the Teatro Ocampo with a concert, also recorded exclusively for the music festival, thus ceremoniously closing this year’s edition of the festival. Both concerts will be performed simultaneously and will be available online until the end of November.
