Since November 9, the online concert of the Iranian pianist Kiann Modaressi in cooperation with the Austrian Cultural Forum in Tehran is available on YouTube.
About the composer:
Kiann is a Persian-Italian composer, keyboardist, pianist and music producer who lives and works in Austria. He was born in 1981 in Tehran and spent most of his adult life in Austria, Italy and Great Britain. His music is a kind of fusion of classical, contemporary instrumental and world music. His repertoire includes 28 crossover pieces from two studio albums, many piano solos, an opera, plus 10 songs from a project with the African a cappella group “Insingizi” and many singles, including the famous song “Vienna”, which he wrote for the city of Vienna with the star violinist “Yury Revich”.
