On the occasion of this year’s national holiday, the Austrian Cultural Forum and the Embassy in Belgrade have launched an ambitious cultural project in public space. Two teams of students from Belgrade and Novi Sad, supported by mentors from the Faculty of Performing Arts Belgrade, have created unique animations for the National Holiday, the 250th anniversary of Beethoven’s birth and 25 years of EU membership, using a “3D mapping” that is precisely tailored to the embassy building. The audiovisual installation “Ode to Beethoven”, created in a dialogue between Austrian and Serbian culture, was on display for three evenings, from 29.10. – 31.10., on the façade of the Embassy in the center of Belgrade.
