The established saxophone festival “Belgrade SAXperience” has made its seventh edition hybrid, with online and live concerts and digital master classes. The venture has paid off, especially the opening concert of the Viennese duo Alloy – supported by the Kulturforum – under the motto “Ladies first” was very well received by the audience.
The saxophonist Mojca Pecman and the pianist Ana Marković focus on contemporary compositions, often works written especially for them. In the context of the concert for Belgrade SAXperience, for example, the composition “pneumothorax” by the young composer Maja Bosnić, who has received several awards, celebrated its premiere.
