A video series about the personalities of the Austrian photobook scene, curated by Thomas Licek and Moritz Neumüller
In September, the Cultural Forum Madrid will present seven videos (subtitled in Spanish) on its Instagram account @austriart.spain about the current photo book scene in Austria.
The interviews with Mafalda Rakos, Paul Kranzler and Reiner Riedler were conducted by Moritz Neumüller, Thomas Licek spoke with Stefanie Mooshammer, Agnes Prammer and Klaus Pichler. The artists are interviewed by the curators via videoconferencing and recorded on the screen as well as through external image and sound carriers. Each artist position is explained by one to three works. The music selected for this is by young artists from Austria.
Besides the social media accounts of the Cultural Forum Madrid, the videos will be shown at festivals in Spain and Latin America, or on their digital platforms.
