Covid-19. Humanoidity

(c) Julia Fromm

Julia FROMM, a student at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, spent the time of the pandemic with an Erasmus+ scholarship in Tunisia; this experience inspired her to create a cultural event in which she combined photo and video concepts as artifacts of this crisis-ridden creative period. The art happening Covid-19.Humanoidity combined video projections with presentations from her Corona diary “Uncertain -LOL – Limits of Lockdown” and musical and dance performances by local partners who performed as an art collective.

An audible excerpt from the stay in Tunisia can also be found in a live interview of the WUK-Radio Orange https://cba.fro.at/462151 with Julia Fromm, in which she explained some aspects of work and travel in connection with the project Humanoidity.
