Following the successful recommendation programme “The New Austian Sound of Music” (NASOM) for musicians from Austria, schreibART AUSTRIA was introduced in 2012. Authors of the new generation, selected by an independent jury, receive the opportunity to present their work around the world. In addition, this programme aims to generate interest in Austrian literature from publishing houses abroad.
schreibART AUSTRIA is a publication which contains biographies, bibliographies, reading samples and reviews, and is distributed by the Austrian Cultural Forums abroad among literary event organisers, publishers, translators and specialist in German studies.
The fourth volume of schreibART AUSTRIA is available since April 2023.
